Terms of service
ORDERING I REQUIREMENTS
We do not work with clients under the age of 18.
• Each piece is fully custom-made and tailored to the client’s individual needs.
• All commissions must be submitted through an official form, where all required information must be provided, or explained in detail through direct messaging.
• A current, clear, easy-to-read, high-resolution reference sheet is REQUIRED when placing a commission.
• We cannot be held responsible for mistakes or inaccuracies that result from poor-quality or incomplete reference sheets.
• Any changes made to the character design after production has begun will incur additional fees.
• If you wish to switch to a completely new character, please notify us as early as possible to avoid starting the wrong project. This may result in extra material costs (if needed) and design-change fees.
• A DTD (Duct Tape Dummy) is required for fullsuit commissions.
• The client acknowledges that they are purchasing a handmade, one-of-a-kind piece of art, which may naturally include minor imperfections or inconsistencies—these items are not machine-produced.
• All communication must be polite, professional, and timely.
• If we do not receive approval on a progress photo within 72 hours, work will continue as shown.
• We have a zero-tolerance policy toward harassment, stalking, threats, public shaming, rushing, or any form of discrimination. Engaging in any of these will result in immediate termination of the commission.
ORDERING I REQUIREMENTS
We reserve the right to decline a commission or end a collaboration for any reason. This may include: rude or disrespectful behavior, poor-quality reference material, incomplete forms, late or refused payment, failure to reply, or lack of proper communication regarding the commission.
We reserve the right to update and modify our Terms of Service (TOS) at any time.
We reserve the right to interpret your character through our artistic style. This may involve minor
adjustments to markings to ensure they wrap around the suit in a visually appealing way. We will never alter the design to the point where the character becomes unrecognizable, and specific details (such as the number of spots or stripes) will remain true to the reference sheet.
We reserve the right to post photos of your completed fursuit on our website and social media pages.
Clients may freely repost images of their own suit.
No third party is permitted to repost, reuse, or redistribute our images.
Our prices reflect the value of our work and are non-negotiable.
Offering less than the listed starting price or arguing about the cost may result in being blacklisted.
In the event of a cancellation or refund, we reserve the right to modify the unfinished suit and sell or auction it.
We will not ship an incomplete suit, even if a refund is forced.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to request updates, Work-In-Progress (WIP) pictures, modifications to markings, and necessary fixes during the creation of your commission. We kindly request that you limit questions such as "when will it be done" or "is it done" to a minimum.
You have the right to cancel the commission at any stage. The refund amount will depend on the amount of completed work. Please note that if your commission is 90-100% complete or in the process of detailing, you will not be eligible for a refund. However, this policy is subject to change based on the type of commission.
You have the right to contact us at any time regarding your commission. We are always here to address your inquiries and concerns.
QUOTES
Requesting a quote is only possible by filling out the form. This shows an approximate amount. We can give you an exact price after consultation!
CONCEPT ART
• AI-generated and VR avatar–based references are not accepted.
• To commission us, you must provide a clean, SFW, three-view reference sheet (front, back, and side).

WORK IN PROGRESS (WIP)
• Please do not expect daily updates. Updates will be sent when your input is needed regarding your costume or project.
• Clients have every right to know the status of their project; however, frequent update requests can be stressful for the maker. We will make sure to notify you at all important stages and keep you informed throughout the process.
• Please note that at RatNest, the maker works alone on the fursuits, while the rest of the team currently handles background tasks such as the website, administration, and other support duties.
• All WIP photos and updates are primarily sent and shared via Telegram.
Our usernames: @Akashi0626 / @LeonLycheeHard
• If you prefer to switch communication to another platform (e.g., Instagram, Twitter/X, email), please inform us in advance to avoid delays and waiting for replies.
• Progress photos are also posted on our Telegram channel.
• If you wish to keep your commission confidential, we will fully respect that! WIP photos of your costume will not be posted publicly and will be sent only to you.
However, we reserve the right to publish the finished product unless otherwise agreed in advance.
